Refund Policy

Transparent, fair terms for all fee-related transactions at AMM Public School.

At AMM Public School, owned and operated by Mittal Memorial Educational Society, we are committed to maintaining transparency and fairness in all financial transactions. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds are processed for fees or other payments made to the school.

Scope of the Policy

This policy applies to all students, parents, and guardians who make payments to AMM Public School, including but not limited to:

  • Admission Fees
  • Tuition Fees
  • Transport Fees
  • Miscellaneous Fees

Ownership Acknowledgment

This Refund Policy is specific to AMM Public School, which is owned and managed by Mittal Memorial Educational Society, a registered entity under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. All decisions related to refunds are in accordance with the policies set by the Society.

Refund Guidelines

1. Admission Fees

  • Non-Refundable: Admission fees paid during the enrollment process are strictly non-refundable, except in the event of a cancellation initiated by the school.
  • Exceptions: If the school denies admission due to unforeseen reasons, a full refund of the admission fee will be processed.

2. Tuition Fees

  • Tuition fees are refundable on a pro-rata basis, calculated for the period of attendance, if the student withdraws before the midterm of the academic year.
  • No refunds will be processed for withdrawals made after the midterm of the academic year.

3. Transport Fees

  • Transport fees are refundable on a pro-rata basis if the transport service is discontinued or if the student withdraws from the school mid-session.

4. Miscellaneous Fees

  • Fees paid for extracurricular activities, school trips, or other one-time services are non-refundable, except if the activity or service is canceled by the school.

Refund Process

Refund Request:

  • To request a refund, the parent/guardian must submit a written application to the Accounts Department at AMM Public School or via email at accounts@ammps.in.
  • The request must include details of the payment, reason for the refund, and supporting documents (if applicable).

Approval and Processing:

  • Refund requests will be reviewed by the school administration and Mittal Memorial Educational Society.
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 15 working days from the date of approval.

Payment Mode:

  • Refunds will be issued via the original mode of payment (e.g., bank transfer, cheque) or any alternative mode as agreed upon by the school and the payee.

Non-Refundable Payments

The following payments are strictly non-refundable:

  • Application and Registration Fees
  • Examination Fees
  • Late Payment Penalties

Force Majeure Clause

In the event of unforeseen circumstances, such as natural disasters, government-mandated closures, or pandemics, refunds will be handled at the discretion of the school and in accordance with applicable laws.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of the refund process shall be addressed through mutual discussions. If unresolved, such disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
